Overview
Required skills and experience: must be a medical professional and able to administer test. Looking for MA, CNA, LPN. We are now allowing some space for admins as well! What you need to know: - THEY MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED! they are going to be giving test to all passengers going on the cruise Interview process: - Will have to have this to start as well. Swab Techs • Perform Abbott BinaxNOW rapid antigen test for cruise line passengers • Either conduct shallow nasal swab or observe patient self-collect (choice is up to each patient) • Will be on feet most of the day and in full PPE • Collection video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baQQfoX-JXo Admin • May serve in multiple roles throughout the day • Competency with technology (tablets) is highly preferred • Effective communication, attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills a must • Will spend most of the day seated • Patient Check-In o Welcome patient to testing o Using a tablet, enter patient’s name into client portal o Verify patient DOB o Scan test ID barcode into system (using handheld scanner) o Print patient name and time on patient registration card o Direct patient to swab station • Patient Check-Out o Verify negative result (by way of reviewing text message or searching name in client portal) o Place wristband on patient’s wrist o Provide directions to exit o Wish passengers well on their trip • Resulting o Work closely with Doctor onsite o Verify test results on Abbott BinaxNOW card o Scan and enter data into client portal • Sample Transport o Pickup samples carefully from each testing station o Cart back to special area and organize for efficient resulting • Floaters o May serve in a variety of roles – as needed and direct support for site leads They have given us an extra cruise liner.
