Overview
Required skills and experience: • Good communication skills. • Good computer operating skills. • This is an entry level role, so prior experience as a "Mail Clerk" or working in a Mail Room is not required, but preferred. • Ideal role for people in the Service Industry (restaurant business, etc.) who are looking to make the transition into an office setting. • Must pass an Attention to Detail test before they can move to next steps in the interview process. • Must have a presentable resume (formatted correctly with no grammatical errors) • Mail Clerk will be on their feet for around 7hrs each day. Candidate must be comfortable working in this type of setting. • Understanding of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications. • Basic understanding of operating instructions and processes for machines. • Basic understanding of or the ability to learn locations and organizational structure of the company. • Basic understanding of postage rates and regulations. • Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of mail. What you need to know: The Office Mail Clerk will help sort and process all incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner, match and file paperwork and plates, and help create labels along with additional office filing responsibilities. Interview process: • Come onsite for a 45 min-1hr interview • Candidate is sent an Attention to Detail test Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Experience in a related area preferred.
