Ongoing contract - highly likely that this will continue to be renewed LIST OF REQUIRED PAPERWORK AT THE END Position Responsibilities: Identifies, sorts, and processes materials handled for the Delivery Room and the Operating Room. Operates required sterilization equipment. Frequently communicates to client-departments via telephone. Performs decontamination activities as required by the Departmental procedures. Position Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Must possess knowledge of surgical instrumentation and basic medical/surgical supplies. - Must have prior knowledge of sterilization and decontamination procedures. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. - Physical Demands include lifting, pushing, and pulling carts; exposure to hot surfaces, works with supplies/instruments contaminated with blood and other body fluids.
