Overview
Required skills and experience: 1. Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in project management or project management. 2. An ideal candidate would have project management experience in Healthcare Information Technology (HIT). 3. Experience in specific areas of responsibility would be considered in lieu of degree(s)/certification(s). 4. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 5. Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus. 6. Jira, Trello, Mission Control/Salesforce, and/or other Project Management/Visualization application experience Experience a plus. What you need to know: 1. This candidate should be able to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, perform a variety of tasks, lead and direct the work of others and successfully act as a bridge between the internal sales and information technology teams. 2. Additional job details: ● Coordinate internal resources and third parties/clients for the flawless execution of projects ● Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope ● Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members ● Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule using appropriate verification techniques ● Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques ● Report and escalate to management as needed ● Establish and manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders ● Perform risk management to minimize project risks ● Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation ● Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project ● Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels ● Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals ● Use and continually develop leadership skills ● Attend conferences and training as required ● Frequent travel may be required ● Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs ● Perform other related duties as assigned
