We are in search of insurance specialists to deliver outstanding customer service in the overall coordination and processing of patient medication orders and refills. Your daily duties will include talking with patients, doctors, and facilities in order to process prescriptions and enter data accurately and efficiently in multiple computer systems. We’re looking for experienced, compassionate, patient focused insurance specialists with exceptional customer service, data-entry, and communication skills. Typical Day: • Enters data quickly and accurately in multiple systems. • Provide exemplary customer service to all patients and caregivers. • Adjudicates patient claims. • Problem-solving • Communicates with doctor offices, pharmacies, and our customers to ensure superior customer service. • Meet metrics daily based on team and business needs. • Maintain updated customer records with strong attention to detail and compliance with HIPAA standards. • Ensure orders are processed in a timely manner and meet clinical requirements prior to fulfillment. • Other duties as assigned. Required Skills: • Strong computer and typing skills are required. • Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders. • Ability to solve problems and communicate issues clearly. • Team-oriented and the ability to thrive is a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Flexible and proactive to meet varied patient needs. • Self-motivated and able to work independently. • Dedicated to excellence and quality. • Able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals. • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). • Prior experience with third party billing, customer service and data entry, preferred. • Passion to help people and enrich their lives. However, medication adherence rates drop drastically over time - particularly when medication regimens become more complex (e.g. more prescriptions, more pills, more administration times). Our founder recognizes that healthcare professionals are not immune to this problem in their own practice. The low adherence statistics are due to the poor design of the current prevailing system. To combat this, we use human-centered design, innovation, and technology. The Solution: Remove all impediments to adherence including the burden of remembering dosage and timing, coordinating refills, wasting time standing in line at a pharmacy, and confusion between pills. We provide a better user experience with real live people for support all for no extra cost. Features: This offering is designed to serve people who manage multiple prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications. Every 30 days, customers receive a personalized roll of pre-sorted prescription medications, vitamins, and OTC medications with clearly-marked dates and times to make managing them easy. Any ointments, lotions and inhalers, are included, too. Each delivery includes a label that explains what each pill is and how it should be taken in easy-to-understand language. Customers can email or call their assigned pharmacist any time to ask questions or clarify instructions.
