We are aware that there is an overwhelming need for mass-scale testing in order to safely get back to sport and work! Understanding that time is of the essence, DFSI is able to offer COVID-19 antibody and viral testing for asymptomatic and symptomatic individuals. We offer the convenience of on-site group or self-administered collections, experienced collectors, collection supplies and laboratory analysis. - Nasal swab testing for teachers, district employees and occasionally students - Launch date: Monday, Sept 13 - Duration: at least through Oct 15 with possible/likely extension Personnel needed: - Medical Assistants (MAs) - Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) - **Will prioritize MA candidates Responsibilities: - Perform nasal swabs or observe self-collected swabs - Enter data in EMR - Provide other operational support Numbers: - 4 MA/EMTs at EACH of 4 testing sites within LAUSD (exact locations TBD) - To avoid OT and ensure adequate coverage, will need more than 4 designated staff per location - Additional trained/screened/onboarded staff for call-outs, no-shows, etc. Hours at each testing site: - M-F: 6:45am-3:45pm - Sat: 7:30am-3:30pm - There will be two unpaid 30-minute breaks each day for total of 8 paid hours M-F - CANNOT pay/approve overtime Specific requirements: - Must be credentialed in state of CA - Must be FULLY vaccinated - Must complete/pass ORI (fingerprint-based) background check before starting - Local to the area, within driving distance >**Mileage is NOT included with the hourly rate as we anticipate this to be regular work for your candidates. Paid training: periodically up through Friday, September 10 - As soon as staff is fully onboarded, we will quickly identify training dates/times - Multiple training dates will be available
