About the Roles As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Systems Integration, you will oversee Our Engineering projects from concept through launch, including conceptualization, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and turnover to customers. • Senior Technical Program Manager, Systems Integration: This role will focus on the integration of Our farm equipment install and commissioning and document the activities for deployment with the rest of our farms. These comprise many of the core strategic components in the farm. Ultimately, our mission is to improve the life of Plants, People, and Planet by providing our delicious produce to the world. In this role you will be part of a passionate and dynamic team that is developing new technology from the ground up and deploying it at a global scale. What You Will Do • Lead a cross-functional team comprised of engineering, supply chain, construction management, controls and others to develop architecture and designs across automation, electronics, devices, and firmware by partnering with key technical leaders, and ensuring each team is methodical in their design/project approach • Leadership and participation in the FMEA process for farm systems and integration design areas • Build comprehensive product specifications, taking input from other Engineering teams, Farm Operations, and Plant Science • Integrate subsystems and programs into the scope, design, deployment and validation of our grow environments • Develop a technology development roadmap for each product • Manage product development, schedule, and cost • Work with the rest of the Engineering Program Management team to develop the Engineering team’s product development and validation processes • 25-50% travel to LA and future farms What We Are Looking For • BS in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical, and/or similar acquired skills from experience in the engineering field • 5+ years managing engineering projects, ideally in manufacturing or industrial automation • Experience leading design and manufacturing validation activities (DFMEA, DV/PV testing, PPAP etc.) • Appreciation for the art of managing evolving project requirements in a fast-paced environment • Experience using a standard product development process. Experience with Scrum a plus • Experience managing vendors and third party designers • Highly collaborative mindset and strong communication skills Food Safety Requirements • Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations • Make sure Equipment design is of a material suitable for food safety and designed in a way that is smooth and easily cleanable About Us We are a new kind of farm for a new kind of world.
