Required Skills and Experience: •Are a thought leader and influencer in your field of medicine •Must have MD/DO/Medical Doctorate Degree •Must be PM&R board certified •Must have license to practice in Texas •Must have experience providing PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehab) care to patients. We will consider PM&R residency and rotations experience as relevant. What You Need to Know: •This is a part-time remote opportunity to work flexible hours between 10-20 hours per week. Not eligible for full-time benefits, but will be eligible for stock options •Will supervise up to 7 nurse practitioners and physician assistants who provide PM&R care to geriatric patients at our client SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) sites. •Will review the NPs' and PAs' medical charts and patient reports •Will conduct PM&R telemedicine visits for patients across Texas •Answer complex questions the NPs or PAs can't answer for patients Additional Job Details: •Manage teams of PAs and NPs to delivery high quality care in a novel delivery model •Conduct telemedicine visits for narcotic prescription and to address any other complicated rehab patients •Review charts and answer any clinical questions from the APPs •Lead and reinforce a high-performance culture to motivate nurses to create new clinical programs that improve patient outcomes
