Required Skills and Experience: 1. Empathy and a genuine interest in providing care for a geriatric population 2. PA or NP California license. New grads and experienced providers both welcome. 3. Strong interpersonal skills as you will interact with many team members at the company and partnering skilled nursing facilities. 4. Post-acute care experience either in a nursing home or acute rehab setting. 5. Specialty certification in Gerontology preferred. What You Need to Know: 1. This position is full time 2. Equity options for employees 3. The position requires daily travel throughout SNFs Additional Job Details: 1. Conduct in person visits with patients in skilled nursing facilities. 2. Work with Physical Medicine and Rehab physicians to develop care plans and treatment recommendations for pain management and the improvement of functional and behavioral health in the geriatric populations. 3. Attend weekly team meetings at skilled nursing facilities to help coordinate care and make treatment recommendations. 4. Perform joint injections and botulinum toxin injections for spasticity as needed.
