Overview

General Summary: Under general supervision of the Vice President, and Chief Human Resources Officer, the Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the Vice President, and Chief Human Resources Officer. This includes schedule management meetings, drafting emails, screening calls, developing presentations, reports, and other complex documents on various topics. This position will also assist in the preparation of the HR budget, administer the Employee Recognition Program and special projects. Provide support to the Vice President, and Chief Human Resources Officer, which includes the following responsibilities (45%): - Provide high level administrative support to Vice President, and Chief Human Resources Officer, the nature of which is highly confidential and important including: - Drafts correspondence as needed - Assists in the preparation of Power Point presentations - Prepares complex spreadsheets, tables, graphs, and flyers. Analyze data and provide a written analysis. - Collects and organizes data, provides research and reports Employee Recognition Program Administration (15%) Reports and Special Projects (20%) Purchasing and Budget (10%) Manages Intranet updates for Human Resources needs (5%) Minimum Required Education: BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, or related field from four-year College or University or equivalent (equivalent experience may be considered). Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in administrative support or office management. Technical Requirements: Must have strong technical knowledge of general office procedures and demonstrate excellent computer skills specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to type 50+ wpm. Must have strong demonstrated experience in Excel with an emphasis on chart creation and formulas.
