Overview

Required Skills and Experience: 1. Education: Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or related field. 2. Experience: 6 or more years work experience in Accounting or Finance specifically with preparation of financial statements; working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. 3. Strong preference for knowledge of government funding grant reporting requirements, budgeting, OMB Circulars, and nonprofit experience. Previous audit experience a plus. 4. Experience working with tax information and external audits/auditors. 5. Must have strong written communication skills. 6. Must have financial statement experience. What You Need to Know: 1. This is a full-time opportunity, remote but must be based in Southern California. 2. Working knowledge of Abila MIP Fund Accounting (general ledger system) a plus. 3. Working knowledge of Adaptive Insights (budgeting & financial reporting software) a plus. 4. Working knowledge of WRIKE (project management software) a plus. 5.
