Overview

Education and Experience: *Possess a BS in Engineering field, Systems, Mechanical or MET from an accredited four-year college or university and have 5+ years of engineering leadership, engineering functional management, project, or program management, and/or technical leadership experience *Experience with the full lifecycle product development of consumer product goods *Possess a firm understanding of design control and quality system requirements *Previous experience in a system engineering practitioner role with knowledge of SE tools, techniques, and standard methodologies Comfortable and confident when coaching, developing, and mentoring junior and senior level technical talent *Solutions driven problem solver, adaptive to change, and highly effective at leading multiple, high visibility priorities *Maintains a positive demeanor and outlook when confronted with challenges *Outstanding soft skills with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, able to effectively collaborate, interact, and influence both business and technical partners and leaders Responsibilities: *Coordinate career and professional development tailored to the needs and motivations of team members *Lead individual training plans, performance management program, employee/team recognition, and eliminate blockers impeding progress *Develop, recommend, and implement SE integration strategies, roadmap, and priorities *Manage relationships with internal partners collaborating with system integration team *Recruit, retain, develop, and maintain a robust pipeline of internal and external system integrator talent for proficiency building and succession planning *Forecast, budget, and manage department budget and the system integrator supply and demand resource forecast model *Analyze organization performance to identify improvement opportunities and deliver sustaining solutions *Prioritize improvement of systems engineering processes, procedures, policies, and tools *Partner with internal SE subsystem leaders to assure predictable, outstanding systems engineering performance across product plans, while meeting or exceeding schedule and budget expectations *Build and maintain systems engineering organizational capabilities required to deliver the product portfolio while chipping into the strategic direction of SE *Serve as a role model and champion for NPD, SE integration, quality, and regulatory initiatives Are you passionate about learning how to launch new and innovative products on the job! As part of the New Product Engineering and Integration team, you will support large projects with growing autonomy while you integrate excellent new products into production.
