Overview

Our Lead OT Technical Architect will work directly with the Operations group focusing on the fundamentals of manufacturing automation systems and improve capabilities through connected devices. This role has ownership of the design, implementation, and support of the Operational Technology Industrial Network(s) at all domestic locations Required skills and experience: *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM area or equivalent work experience *Expert knowledge of current Cisco LAN switching, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Security technologies, and Cisco Data Center. *Must have 2-3 years of experience in Cisco IE equipment and Cisco IOx *Must have 1-2 years of experience with Cisco Industrial Network Director (IND) demonstrated ability in implementing industrial network connected devices within a manufacturing environment *Proven work experience leading internal and external technology teams and/or large project lead *Experience and expertise in the areas of Enterprise Routing and Switching, Data Center switching, Wireless, Firewall and Security *Application experience with Cyber Vision, DNA Center, & ISE CCNP, CCNP Enterprise and CCDE highly desired *5 + years demonstrated ability in deploying and supporting industrial networks and connected devices *Must have working knowledge of ICS and SCADA protocols Modbus, PROFINET, CIP, DNP3 *Working knowledge of IEC Standards 60870-5-101/104 and 61850 What you need to know: Responsibilities: The role’s key responsibilities include: *Serve as the overall owner of DFC’s OT Industrial networking systems’ design and implementation *Collaborate with Operations across multiple groups to meet project achievements *Work directly with process and automation engineers on current and future Industry 4.0 manufacturing improvements *Demonstrated excellent facilitation, interpersonal and change management skills; able to prioritize, drive accountability, and lead many simultaneous initiatives *Collaborate with Automation Engineers to develop and document best practices, guidelines, processes supporting the consistent deployment of ICS and SCADA systems *Collaborate with IT Network Administrator to facilitate efficient connectivity between the IT & OT networks *Collaborate with the Enterprise Information Security team to address vulnerabilities and facilitate patching of OT network components and connected devices *Participate in and coordinate with Operations during continuous improvement activities *Continuously use the tools available to maintain, run, and secure the OT Industrial Network to consistently meet operation’s SLA’s *Network Automation *Automated VLAN Configuration on switches, BGP Configuration on routers *Implement common execution tasks like copying, executing, rebooting, and backing up multi-vendor network devices
