Overview

Required skills and experience: Our Industrial Network Technician will work directly with the Sr. Industrial Network Engineer and Service Operations group supporting manufacturing automation systems and improve capabilities through connected devices. This role is responsible for the support and troubleshooting of the OT Network and connected devices at our Jackson, TN facility. *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM area or equivalent work experience*Must have 1-2 years of experience in Cisco IE equipment and Cisco IOxMust have demonstrated ability in supporting and troubleshooting industrial network connected devices within a manufacturing environment *Experience in the areas of Enterprise Routing and Switching, Data Center switching, Wireless, Firewall and Security *Technical knowledge of current Cisco LAN switching, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Security technologies, and Cisco Data Center. *Experience with Cisco Industrial Network Director (IND) *Application experience with Cyber Vision, DNA Center, & ISE CCNA, CCNA Wireless highly desired *2 + years demonstrated ability in deploying and supporting industrial networks and connected devices *Working knowledge of ICS and SCADA protocols OPC, Modbus, PROFINET, CIP, DNP3 *Working knowledge of IEC Standards 60870-5-101/104 and 61850 What you need to know: *Continuously use the tools available to maintain, run, and secure the OT Industrial Network to consistently meet operation’s SLA’s *Support Network Automation systems including but not limited to VLAN configuration, network device backup and network device patch management *Collaborate with Automation Engineers to troubleshoot and support processes consistent with ICS and SCADA systems *Work directly with process and automation engineers on current and future Industry 4.0 manufacturing improvements *Collaborate with Operations across multiple groups to meet current and future continuous improvement project goals *Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks *Collaborate with Desktop Services team to troubleshoot and support OT connected devices *Collaborate with the Sr. Industrial Network Engineer & IT Network Administrator to facilitate efficient connectivity between the IT & OT networks *Collaborate with the Enterprise Information Security team to address vulnerabilities and facilitate patching of OT network components and connected devices *Participate in and coordinate with Operations during continuous improvement activities
