Our client is a Hospital and Health Care company that provides virtual behavioral health, and on-site pain management, physiatry, and other specialty care for adults living in skilled nursing facilities and other congregate living communities. Their Virtual Behavioral Health Clinic, supporting all adults and caregivers, is now open to anyone 18 and over.

Qualifications

Required
  • Doctorate degree
  • Geriatric Care (5+ years)
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • telehealth
    • coaching/supervising Advanced Practitioners
  • Are you fully vaccinated?

Top "Must-Have" Skills for this job: • 5+ years of professional experience as a Psychiatrist (ideally serving the Geriatric population) • 2+ years of experience with a Medically Complicated Population (fellowship training included in this as relevant experience) • Experience coaching and supervision Advance Practitioners in Geriatric Care • Licensed Psychiatrist in the state of California • Experience or interested in joining a fast-paced, innovative, and patient focused start-up What You Need to Know: • Part time, Telehealth opportunity working 3-4 hours per week • Train and mentor mid-level providers • Competitive compensation • Remote Opportunity • Ability to maintain your own schedule outside your hours with Lightyear Health Additional Job Details: • Supervise teams of Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioners to delivery high quality care in a novel delivery model  • Support direct patient care as necessary via telemedicine in post acute settings including Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Independent Living Facilities  • Reviewing select documentation of the behavioral health APPs • Provide the psychopharmacology recommendations for patients seen by a care manager in our integrated model • Agree to enter into a written collaboration agreement up to 4 CA PMHNPs or BH specialized PAs
