Our client is a Hospital and Health Care company that provides virtual behavioral health, and on-site pain management, physiatry, and other specialty care for adults living in skilled nursing facilities and other congregate living communities. Their Virtual Behavioral Health Clinic, supporting all adults and caregivers, is now open to anyone 18 and over.

Qualifications

Required
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in California (CA)
  • Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in California (CA)
  • CNA or CMA (1+ years)
  • Are you fully vaccinated?
  • Are you interested in part-time?
  • Do you have a passion for working with individuals with possible dementia and/or mental health diagnoses
  • Do you have experience working with iPads or consider yourself to be tech savvy?

Overview

Required Skills and Experience: •California CNA or MA certification •Interest in working with individuals with possible dementia and/or mental health diagnoses •At least 1 year of experience working as a CNA or MA •Strong communicator with the ability to engage with various stakeholders in a professional and warm manner •Empathy and a genuine interest in providing care for the geriatric population What You Need to Know: • Part-time Telehealth opportunity dealing with geriatric patients • Expected schedule is to work 2 days a week, 10-15 hours • This position will set up Telepsych visits for our patients in skilled nursing facilities with behavioral health specialists and check vitals, do assessments, and populate sections of charts • Must reside in or near Modesto, CA Telehealth presenters will be going on site as they're setting up the meetings and doing any needed troubleshooting in the facility. Additional Job Details: •Conduct mental health and cognitive assessments such as depression and anxiety screenings and basic memory testing, obtain accurate vitals, know how to populate certain sections of charts such as problem lists and medications. •Troubleshoot any technical issues, including a basic understanding of Apple products and software applications •Identify communication issues and work with patients and providers if rescheduling is needed •Communicate and collaborate with the clinical team
