Required
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Arizona (AZ)
  • 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Medsurg
    • Acute Hospital setting
  • Are you fully vaccinated?

Overview

Required skills & experience: 1. ASN required, BSN preferred. 2. Currently licensed to practice in AZ. 3. 3-5 years of inpatient experience (preferably in med/surg) as a registered nurse is required and within the last 5 years required. 4. Experience providing nursing care in the home, community, or clinic is highly desirable. What you need to know 1. Company is in their late start-up phase. This will be a home based position, travel to appts in the greater Phoenix area. 5. FT 10-10p (option to do 2-10) •. PT 10-10p Additional Job Details: 1. Perform patient assessment and provide care 2. Educate patient on their condition, prescribed medications, nursing interventions, and care plan 3. Participate in the coordination of services with other disciplines and community resources as needed 4. Identify and act on changes in patient’s condition 5. Evaluate and revise care plans/assessments based on changes in patients and/or their environments 6. Document all assessments and interventions 7. Collect specimens as required (including phlebotomy) 8. Start and manage peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICCs 9. Administer medications including IV medications as ordered 10. Insert foley catheters as ordered 11. Utilize and instruct patient/family on the use of the telehealth tablet used for biometric data capture, patient symptom reporting, and telehealth visits 12. Participate in regular case conferences and in-service or special case orientations as needed and participate in on-call rotation 13. Other duties as assigned.
