Our client is a Hospital and Health Care company that provides virtual behavioral health, and on-site pain management, physiatry, and other specialty care for adults living in skilled nursing facilities and other congregate living communities. Their Virtual Behavioral Health Clinic, supporting all adults and caregivers, is now open to anyone 18 and over.

Qualifications

Required
  • Master's degree or higher
  • Valid NP in Texas (TX)
  • Nurse Practitioner work (2+ years)
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Skilled Nursing Facility Care
    • Long-Term Care
    • Geriatric Care

Overview

Required skills and experience: 1. Must be fully vaccinated. 2. Current, unrestricted TX NP license. 3. Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a NP within Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care highly preferred. 4. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPC codes. 5. Bonus points: Awareness about UM standards, NCQA requirements, CMS guidelines, Milliman guidelines, and Medicaid/Medicare contracts and benefit systems. What you need to know: 1. This is a full-time opportunity, 40 hours a week in a SNF/LTC setting. 2. No on call or weekends! 3. 30 days of paid time off (PTO) per year, up to 10 of which can roll over to the following calendar year (note that this will start in 2022; there are no set days for the remainder of 2021) 4. 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave 5. Stock option grants for all team members Additional job details: 1. Conduct in person visits with patients in skilled nursing facilities. 2. Work with Physical Medicine and Rehab physicians to develop care plans and treatment recommendations for pain management and the improvement of functional and behavioral health in the geriatric populations. 3. Attend weekly team meetings at skilled nursing facilities to help coordinate care and make treatment recommendations. 4. Perform joint injections and botulinum toxin injections for spasticity as needed.
