Overview

About this role We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to be the end-to-end owner of a key piece, our product roadmap: digital mental health content and programming, tailor-made to engage College and University students. The end goal is to take the best mental health research available, transform it into engaging and digestible multimedia content, and then deliver it through a beautifully designed and highly engaging digital product experience, to help students live happier, more fulfilling lives. This is a unique role that will require a combination of blue-sky strategic development, stakeholder management across the peer and executive level, as well as strong, on-the-ground product development execution. You will work with a dedicated group consisting of design, engineering, clinical SME, and creative production. You will report to our Lead Product Manager. Responsibilities of this role • Collaborate with clinical experts to develop a strategy for how we can build the best digital mental wellness content and programming targeted at the college student population. • As your Creative partner architects a library of high quality and engaging multimedia content, you will collaborate on the technical production process to get that content made (getting outside help where you need it). • Conduct and integrate customer research throughout your strategic planning and product development. • Build and launch the v1 product (mobile and/or web) to deliver this content and programming to students in a highly engaging and retentive manner. • Collaborate with the rest of the product team to integrate this into our existing digital clinic, finding opportunities to seamlessly move students between clinical care and digital programming, and vice versa. • Set the goal metrics for launch and ongoing success. Obsess over these metrics and know them like the back of your hand. • Use data, customer feedback, and strategic insight to build out a long term roadmap which combines product, clinical, and content development in collaboration with your cross-functional partners. Requirements Must haves... • You have 4+ years of experience in product management or a related field, and have a wealth of experience working closely with design and engineering teams. • You've meaningfully contributed to a highly-engaging consumer product, whether it was in gaming, media, or something else. • You are customer-obsessed— you love speaking with existing and prospective customers to learn more about their jobs to be done. You combine these qualitative insights with quantitative analysis to ensure you're building the right things in the right ways. • You are a self starter who is resourceful and not afraid to roll-up your sleeves to get something done • You have superb communication and collaboration skills. Managing through influence is second nature and you're avid at building alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders • You are comfortable jumping between high level strategy conversations to keep us headed in the right direction, and day-to-day operations tasks aimed at keeping the team's engine humming smoothly. • You are entrepreneurial, and excel when you can take ownership and build yourself into the primary driver of your product area. • You are passionate about mental healthcare, and are driven by our mission to increase access to mental healthcare for university students Nice to haves... • You have experience working at an early stage company, and so feel comfortable wearing many hats and operating in an environment with significant ambiguity. • You have strong data chops. You love going deep into the data to find insights and trends, so you can build confidence in the decisions you're making. Benefits • Competitive compensation package, including base, equity, and bonus • Generous health, dental, and vision insurance contribution • One Medical Membership • Commuter Card • Work with a small, collaborative team at a fast pace • Ability to have an impact through building products that will affect millions of lives • While we are NYC-based and place a premium on in-person collaboration, we have a very flexible WFH policy. In other words, you are welcome to spend a few weeks here and there working from the Bahamas.
