Overview

Required skills and experience: *Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business related field with 3+ years of experience in supply chain or operations; at least 2 years relevant project management experience *Understanding of core manufacturing and business processes; experience working with direct material suppliers, internal operations and parallel supply chain functions is strongly desired *Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) *Experiences in Smartsheet, SAP (or equivalent ERP) and Power BI reporting are preferred *Excellent influence, problem solving, analytical, and communication skills *Understanding and application of continuous improvement tools (Lean or Six Sigma) *Ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities with sense of urgency is required *Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team setting *PMP certification beneficial to have *Travel required:10%-15% travel with potential domestic and i international locations What you need to know: Responsibilities: *Develops and leads supplier development action plans, assuring timing, cross-functional alignment with resources in the areas of quality, value management, engineering, marketing, operations, and f finance, maximizing the company’s goals while minimizing overall internal risks to move projects to target success levels. *Lead support of assigned Commodity Team efforts to achieve performance goals and execute initiatives; applies outside the box approaches for countermeasures to navigate hurdles. *Establishes vision to Supplier Development Center of Excellence (COE) pillars through collaborative engagement and process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma). *Supports related cross-functional supply chain activities. *Adherence to compliance and department standard work. *Executes business special projects, stretch assignments, ad-hoc management requests and continuous improvement initiatives. Additional job details: The Supplier Development Project Manager collaborates closely internally with global cross-functional teams to build robust action plans and then executes to achieve desired goals and initiatives. In addition, this position is responsible to build and sustain relationships our suppliers to deliver on initiative plan commitments that consistently meet or exceed supplier performance goals. You will also evaluate proactively for contingency planning and how this role’s activities fit into the overall supply chain short and long-term objectives. In this role, you will be encouraged to think outside the box and come up with creative new ways of doing things. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the global supply base and our internal commodity team structure. As well, how to be a lead influencer across a variety of teams to make plans, meet plans and deliver to time targets to positively impact the business.
