Overview

Required skills and experience: B.S. degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business subject area required; MBA preferred *A minimum of 5 years related logistics experience, with 2 years in a leadership capacity. *Solid understanding of transportation and distribution systems with knowledge of database applications (ERP/MRP) is required *Solid understanding of international and domestic freight management across all modes *Solid understanding of customs compliance regulations and import/export processes *Analytical problem solver with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. *Strong strategic, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. *Excellent planning, organization, and leadership skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects or opposing priorities. *Proven self-starter can work independently in ambiguous situations *Ability to coach and empower a team to be their best *Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization, actively listen, and understand information presented by people with different communication styles and different points of view What you need to know: *Develop and deploy strategies that enable growth, improve costs, and ensure superior service performance of globally sourced materials, internal network transfers, and outbound customer orders. *Develop and lead a portfolio of carrier to ensure competitive pricing, reliable performance, risk diversification, and growth enablement. *As part of continuous improvement, seek out changes to current procedures to improve performance, raise efficiency, and minimize errors. *Proactively collaborate cross functionally within internal and external stakeholders to find opportunities to improve velocity, cost, and service. *Coordinate Customs Compliance programs ensuring all standards and trade compliance regulations are adhered to while finding opportunities to mitigate risk and tariff exposure. *Own the global freight budget and payment processes to ensure timely and accurate payments to contracted carriers and to also ensure accurate business controls are in place to audit freight invoices for accuracy and validity. *Utilize capabilities of the WMiS and TMS systems support business requirements and maximize value. Additional job details: The Manager of Global Logistics will develop and implement solutions to enable sustained growth while simultaneously meeting/exceeding our internal and external customers’ requirements for visibility, consistency, and reduced lead-times. In addition, they will develop strategies and processes to enable the company's global import material requirements while supporting the company's objectives on service, growth, cost, and cash flow. In this role you will work closely with our Corporate office and other sister divisions as appropriate to improve Masco’s collective customer satisfaction and costs position. Additionally, you will partner with other functions within Supply Chain, Distribution, Procurement, Sales, Asia Supply Chain Management (ASCM), and Customer Solutions functions as well as external companies / agencies (carriers, freight forwarders, 3PL providers, US Customs, etc.) as needed to support the evolving requirements of the business.
