Ocean Freight Forwarder

Overview

We are seeking an Ocean Freight Forwarder to join our Remote team responsible for driving the expansion of our international freight forwarding business. Top "Must-Have" Skills for this job: • 4+ years of professional experience in ocean freight forwarding • Working knowledge of ocean freight industry and local, national, and maritime law • Current book of business with common carriers, origin & destination partners (preferred) • Experience with NVO & VCO freight forwarding • Direct account management experience • Knowledge of international currencies and financial risk management/mitigation • Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field Selling Points: • Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) • PTO and Sick Days • Flexible Schedule • Internal Growth Opportunities • Ability to work Remote • And much more! Qualifications

• Ocean Freight Forwarding (4+ years)
• Do you have working knowledge of ocean freight industry and local, national, and maritime law?
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • NVO & VCO Freight Forwarding
  • Direct Account Management experience
  • Knowledge of International Currencies
  • Knowledge of Financial Risk Management/Mitigation

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Do you have a current book of business with common carriers, origin & destination partners?
