Overview
Required Skills and Experience: •California CNA, MA or EMT certification •Interest in working with individuals with possible dementia and/or mental health diagnoses •At least 1 year of experience working as a CNA or MA •Strong communicator with the ability to engage with various stakeholders in a professional and warm manner •Empathy and a genuine interest in providing care for the geriatric population •Must be fully vaccinated and boostered in order to qualify based on CDC guidelines for healthcare workers What You Need to Know: 1. This is a part-time opportunity working 1 day a week; 8:30am - 4:30pm 2. This role may require travel to and from multiple facilities in the area and so demonstrated safety while driving is important to us 3. This position will set up Telepsych visits for our patients in skilled nursing facilities with behavioral health specialists and check vitals, do assessments, and populate sections of charts Additional Job Details: •Conduct mental health and cognitive assessments such as depression and anxiety screenings and basic memory testing, obtain accurate vitals, know how to populate certain sections of charts such as problem lists and medications. •Troubleshoot any technical issues, including a basic understanding of Apple products and software applications •Identify communication issues and work with patients and providers if rescheduling is needed •Communicate and collaborate with the clinical team
Qualifications

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in California (CA)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in California (CA)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in California (CA)
- as a medical assistant? (or EMT) (1+ years)
- Are you seeking part time? 1 day per week; 8 hours?
- Are you fully vaccinated and boostered?
- Do you have a passion for working with individuals with possible dementia and/or mental health diagnoses
- Do you have experience working with iPads or consider yourself to be tech savvy?
