Required skills and experience: 1. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required 2. Experience: Two years communications, marketing or office experience required 3. Behavioral: o Self-starter and strong collaborator o Excellent oral and written communication skills. o Superb organizational skills and ability to prioritize work independently. o Meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading capabilities. o Excellent computer skills to include knowledge of online research, web analytics and social media, advanced Microsoft Office Suite, and database management experience. 4. Travel: This position is expected to regularly travel to our offices as well as community offices/ events throughout Los Angeles and San Bernardino County. Staff members driving on behalf of the company may choose to drive a company vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver’s License and DMV clearance required. 5. Background & Health Clearance Requirements: o COVID-19 Vaccination: As a federal contract holder, we are required to ensure that all employees are fully vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption on or before December 8th, 2021. This requirement includes all employees regardless of where they work (including all new hires before they begin work). 6. Bilingual preferred. Additional job details: Within a team environment, this position will perform the following responsibilities: 1. Provides high-level administrative support to Director – coordinates information flow including mail, email, telephone calls, deliverables – and stays current on shifting priorities to ensure maximum response and productivity. 25% 2. Ensures division expenditures are budgeted accurately. Completes credit card reconciliations, department check requests, purchase requests, and other paperwork accurately and on time. Assists division leadership team with budget reporting and analysis. Serves as liaison to Finance division. 25% 3. Sources, analyzes, purchases and distributes branded promotional items, program materials and products, incentives, office supplies, etc. 20% 4. Develops, implements, and manages division policies, procedures, projects and reports. Manages project timelines using Wrike or other applicable software. 10% 5. Analyzes data and provides written analysis, presentations and reports. Prepares complex spreadsheets, tables, and process maps. 10% 6. Attends and reports on internal and external meetings, and assists with event logistics and production. 10%
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license in California (CA)
