Overview

Required Skills • You have completed an accredited program for Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) • You hold an unrestricted RN, NP or PA state license, including board certification, or the ability to become board certified within 2 years. • You have strong comprehension of clinical standards of care and are focused on quality of life for your patients • You have proficiency in PowerPoint and general technological savviness. • Experience leading training efforts or as a Clinical Educator. • Strong customer service skills, previous sales experience a plus. What you need to know As a Clinical Educator, with our company, you influence and ensure training of workflows, policy and procedure, and best practice based on principles of adult learning theory. You will leverage your knowledge as a nurse or as an APP to promote an understanding of the healthcare industry, evidenced-based medicine, and clinical skills to support business goals. You will support various learning programs through in-person and remote training. Primary functions for the Clinical Educator include: • Develop new hire standards for onboarding and orientation. • Create and present educational content with a focus on areas that support business objectives such as transitions of care, disease management, case management, fall prevention. • Organize on-the-job training at multiple site and, at time, act as a preceptor for new staff. • Provide training for various electronic medical records and software. • Design compelling and compelling training for wide audiences and skill levels for both online and instructor-led material. • Ensure high levels of quality and both stakeholder satisfaction with each encounter. • Partner with Honest’s care team and various PCP practices to identify and meet learning needs. • Travel to various PCP offices within territory [ie: NYS] to train on various content or reinforce adherence to process.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Registered Nurse (RN)
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
    • Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
  • Are you comfortable traveling for this role?
