Qualifications

Required
  • High School/GED
  • working as a Certified Coder (2+ years)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) in Tennessee (TN)
    • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) in Tennessee (TN)
    • Certified Coding Specialist-Physician (CCS-P) in Tennessee (TN)
  • Are you willing and able to meet the required onsite hours (Monday - Friday, 8-5pm)?
Preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Code using an ICD-10-CM code book
    • Collecting data and using evaluation systems
    • Experience in Medicaid and/or Medicare health and insurance industry
    • Coding in a Primary Care Outpatient setting
    • Coding in a Rick Adjustment Model
    • Microsoft Office
