Your Role As a Manager of Learning and Development you influence the best practices for learning and drive toward the highest standards for all special programs to train and grow teams. Based on principles of adult learning theory and instructional design, you will consult and organize a blended training approach to ensure employee competency. The Manager of Learning and Development will be responsible for the LMS platform to deliver compliance training and support role-specific clinical and non-clinical learning with collaboration of appropriate subject matter experts. Primary functions for the Manager of Learning & Development include: • Develop standards for training design in three core areas of learning including onboarding, orientation, and on-the-job training. • Manage and oversee best practices for onboarding new hires. • Design and manage unique learning and development programs. • Act as a consultant on instructional design for key stakeholders. • Develop and produce pod casts. • Work collaboratively and regularly with clinical educators and training specialists for advisement on best training practices. • Ensure measurable outcomes for training programs and seek ways to demonstrate return of investment on learning programs. • Advise on design for compelling training considering a wide audience and differing skill levels for both online and instructor-led material. • Ensure high levels of quality and stakeholder satisfaction with each encounter. • Work with Vice President of Learning and Employee experience to weave the employee experience into all learning activities.
