Nurse Practitioner - Travel

Overview

Required skills and experience: 1. At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. 2. Virginia NP license. 3. Empathy and a genuine interest in providing care for a geriatric population. 4. Strong interpersonal skills as you will interact with many team members at the company and partnering skilled nursing facilities. 5. Post-acute care experience either in a nursing home or acute rehab setting, preferred. 6. Specialty certification in Gerontology, preferred. 7. Must be fully vaccinated as it aligns with CDC's guidelineshttps://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/adults/rec-vac/hcw.html, including the Covid-19 vaccine and boosterhttps://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/covid-19-vaccines-us.html. What you need to know: 1. This is a full-time opportunity that will travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities within Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, and Richmond, VA. 2. Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm work schedule. 3. Be the face of the company in a brand new market. Interview process: 1. Zoom call 30 mins with recruiter 2. Whether you're looking for Full-time or a perm 1099 position - we want to hear from you! Additional job details: 1. Conduct in person visits with patients in skilled nursing facilities. 2. Work with Physical Medicine and Rehab physicians to develop care plans and treatment recommendations for pain management and the improvement of functional and behavioral health in the geriatric populations. 3. Attend weekly team meetings at skilled nursing facilities to help coordinate care and make treatment recommendations. 4. Perform joint injections and botulinum toxin injections for spasticity as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid NP in Virginia (VA)
• Are you fully vaccinated?
• Nurse Pracitioner (2+ years)

• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Geriatric Care
  • Skiled Nursing Facilities
  • Long Term Care
