Overview

Contract/Locum or Permanent placement available for this role. Contract length is negotiable. Required Skills and Experience: - State Licensed Physician: Board Certified or Board Eligible, preferably in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. - Minimum of 1 year experience. - Must be tech-savvy and be able to easily utilize an array of applications, a s. smartphone, tablet, and EMR. - Background Check/ Active medical license with check is required. - Strong work ethic with effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit. - Attention to detail, especially in medical documentation. - Knowledge of HEDIS measures and the ability to close gaps in medical care. - Comfortable with women’s medicine but OB delivery is not needed - Vaccines, vision and hearing screens - Clinical supervision of medical assistants when working together. - Work with Medical Directors and the Chief Medical Officer to identify opportunities to innovate and improve medical care. What you need to know: - Flexible scheduling - Typically see one to two patients an hour, with goals set to drive interpersonal relationships with patients and families - A dedicated driver or rideshare provides transportation while you maintain a medical supply kit - Use of iPad for EMR charting - Heal operations support for prescription refills, lab follow up, and coordinated care management

Qualifications

Required
  • Doctorate degree
  • Valid MD in Georgia (GA)
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Internal Medicine
    • Family Medicine
    • Geriatric Care
  • Are you Board Certified or Board Eligible?
  • Are you able to provide proof of Covid-19 and flu vaccination?
