Overview

Required skills and experience: 1. Education: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Developmental Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. 2. Experience: o At least two years of experience providing reflective supervision. o At least two years of experience in maternal and child home visitation. o At least two years administrative experience as a supervisor. 3. Professional/Technical Certifications: Certified lactation educator (CLE) or certified lactation counselor (CLC) at a minimum; or certification must be completed within six months of hire; alternately staff may be certified lactation consultant (CLC) or international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC/RLC). 4. Technical Requirements: o Computer skills; including web browsing, e-mail, data entry, and word processing. Proficiency in Windows-based programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. 5. Travel: Some travel/business related driving required; automobile, current auto insurance, current California Driver’s License and DMV clearance required. 6. Background & Health Clearance Requirements: Bridge & FWB o Criminal Records (e.g. Livescan Fingerprinting), Child Abuse Index Check, Sexual Offender Registry, Health and Tuberculosis (TB) test clearances required. Additional job details: 1. Implement assigned contracts, grants, evidence-based models and programs to full compliance with contractual requirements, performance measures/standards and applicable professional legal and ethical standards. Ensures the quality of the program by overseeing services provided through periodic shadowing of home visits and conducting regular chart reviews. Maintain a consistent system of confidentiality for records, information of program families, and other confidential data. Adherence to confidentiality, including HIPAA and PHI, in accordance with Agency policy and legal requirements. Adherence with technological security in accordance with Agency policy and legal requirements (20%) 2. Provide consultation to all program staff on high-risk clinical issues such as mental illness, developmental delays, child abuse and family violence to ensure that the needed support and follow-up is provided. Collaborate with other CCRC departments/divisions to bring mental health and other services to children and families identified with a need. (20%) 3. Attend and participate in all contract-required and appropriate community meetings as required/assigned. Attend internal/external meetings as directed and needed for program. (20%) 4. Work closely with the Program Director to implement documentation and training procedure policies and protocols. Assist with and provides ongoing staff development related to the issues and needs of clients such as maternal and infant health, breastfeeding, parenting, attachment, home safety, family planning and child development. Support and train staff on identifying client strengths, needs, barriers and risks and identifies community resources for families in need. Mentor and assist with ongoing training of employees to ensure that they are modeling empathy and providing holistic and strength-based services. (20%) 5. Ensuring staff receive required hours of weekly individual reflective supervision and required hours of monthly group reflective supervision. (15%) 6. Oversight of program budget in compliance with agency and funder regulations. Complete/generate reports as needed, internally and externally. (5%)

Qualifications

Required
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Providing reflective supervision
    • maternal and child home visitation
    • administrative epxerience as a supervisor
  • Do you have a valid CA Driver's License with reliable transportation and DMV clearance?
Preferred
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California (CA)
    • Licensed Developmental Psychologist in California (CA)
    • Licsened Marriage & Family Therapist in California (CA)
