Overview

Required skills and experience: 1. 7-10 years of product design experience 2. Prior experience developing & iterating on product features using user research & feedback 3. Prior exposure to products geared toward diverse or underrepresented populations 4. Experience building both user interface and user experience features 5. Demonstrated success working alongside consultant and contract resources 6. Experience with start-ups (Seed stage through Series A) 7. Experience building end-to-end products 8. Experience with Product Design Programs (Figma or Sketch or Miro or other similar systems) 9. Experience working with information architecture What you need to know: 1. Hiring Manager Screen + Portfolio Review (60 min) 4. Virtual Onsite (2-2.5 hours) 5. Reference Checks Job selling points: 1. Equity options and competitive compensation Additional job details: 1. Finalize updated designs for an early version of the Coral Health MVP - UI of workflow & design 2. Lead the UI and UX design of the interactive web experience 3. Create prototypes of potential experiences as needed  4. Supervise, assign, and coordinate the work of other designers as needed  5. Perform “Design QA” on experiences as they are built 6. Work closely with the Head of Product on a roadmap 7. Supports the creation of a comprehensive roadmap by providing design input and acting as a proxy for potential users 8. Proposes both practical and imaginative digital experiences in alignment with company strategy 9. Revise and finalize digital design system 10. Builds a comprehensive component library to support faster creation of new experiences 11. Builds and revises the “Digital Design Language” such that experiences feel cohesive and unique 12. Conceptualize designs for future native mobile apps 13. Identify best uses for a mobile app 14. Create prototypes of experiences 15. Perform user testing as needed

Qualifications

Required
  • Product design (7+ years)
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • devloping product features using user research & feedback
    • exposure to products geared toward diverse or underrepresented populations
    • building user interface and user expereince features
    • worked alongside consultant and contract resources
    • working with or for a start-up company (seed stage through series A )
    • building end to end products
    • Figma
    • Sketch
    • Miro
    • information architecture
