Overview
Your Role As a Clinical Educator you influence and ensure training of workflows, policy and procedure, and best practice based on principles of adult learning theory. You will leverage your knowledge as a nurse or as an APP to promote an understanding of the healthcare industry, evidenced-based medicine, and clinical skills to support business goals. You will support various learning programs through in-person and remote training. Primary functions for this role include: •Develop new hire standards for onboarding and orientation •Create and present educational content with a focus on areas that support business objectives such as transitions of care, disease management, case management, fall prevention •Organize on-the-job training at multiple sites and, at times, act as a preceptor for new staff •Provide training for various electronic medical records and software •Design compelling and compelling training for wide audiences and skill levels for both online and instructor-led material •Ensure high levels of quality and both stakeholder satisfaction with each encounter •Partner with care team and various PCP practices to identify and meet learning needs •Travel to various JV Partner offices within territory to train on various content or reinforce adherence to process How You Qualify •You reviewed the Who You Are section of this job posting and immediately felt the need to read on. That makes you a match for our innovative culture •You have completed an accredited program for Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) •You hold an unrestricted RN, NP or PA state license, including board certification, or the ability to become board certified within 2 years •You have strong comprehension of clinical standards of care and are focused on quality of life for your patients •You have proficiency in PowerPoint and general technological savviness. •You have a minimum of three years’ experience leading training efforts or as a Clinical Educator •Strong customer service skills, previous sales experience a plus Who You Are You are a devoted, compassionate, and enjoy being on the front lines in healthcare, changing the lives of your patients. - Bachelor's degree or higher
