Overview
Position Summary: The Program Therapist provides facilitation and support services for intensive programming. Collaborates in a multi-disciplinary setting to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and as needed, their family. Duties and Responsibilities: - Conduct group therapy sessions within assigned intensive program - May support intensive program with meal preparation and clean-up which may include washing dishes - May participate in therapeutic meals - May assist with milieu management - Maintain timely clinical documentation in compliance with policies and regulatory standards - May participate in peer review of documentation - Maintain and enhances knowledge of current clinical practice - Maintain at all times the confidentiality of proprietary information, which includes but is not limited to, trade secrets, sensitive company information, and generally any company information not made available to the public. - Maintain at all times the confidentiality of former and current Emily Program clients’ protected health information, as directed by state and federal law, and policy. Additionally, maintain confidentiality in any position with access to employee personal information. - Attend all required meetings per the Outpatient Site Meeting Structure document - Complete all assigned mandatory trainings - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: MA degree and working towards active, independent licensure preferred No experience required Additional Ohio Qualifications Active associate licensure in the state of Ohio required if the individual has a MA degree and is working towards a therapist licensure Competencies: Exhibits passion for our clients, values, and organization Works independently and very proactively with minimal direction/supervision Participates in maintaining a supportive and healthy work environment Considers fiscal and budgetary implications in decision making regarding practice Engages in self-evaluation process, seeking feedback regarding own practice, from clients, peers, professional colleagues and others Workplace Requirements: Sitting 70-75% and Standing 25-30%. Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping or crouching when appropriate, on occasion. Lift, carry, push or pull up to approx. 40 pounds (supplies, etc.)
Qualifications
