CEO for Logistics Software Company Nashville, TN Private equity firm is leading the search for the next CEO of a recently acquired Truck Management Software company serving the logistics and trucking industry. Seeking a visionary decision-maker with the people skills and leadership qualities to lead the company into the future. About The Company Our mission is to build and continuously update a system that blends state-of-the-art technology with knowledge obtained from veterans in the industry. The transportation industry is in the middle of radical changes driven by customer demands and supply chain efficiencies. Ease of use and industry vocabulary is required for the product to enhance user productivity and allow the adaptation of the changing market. Experts in both transportation and technology, the team offers over 40 years of combined mid- and executive-level management experience in the fields of transportation, manufacturing and computerized information management. Our staff consists of seasoned transportation personnel with extensive experience in dispatch, fuel management, supply chain management and maintenance. Expanding rapidly, we currently have sales offices throughout the United States. The executive management team has extensive senior and executive management experience with IBM, Oracle and Schlumberger. Members of the team have started previous companies in supply chain management that are successfully operating to this day. We currently seek a CEO with the vision and people skills to lead this mission. About the Position We are seeking candidates with: • Industry experience in logistics, trucking and supply chain • Experience with SaaS software in either product management, sales or development • Knowledge of Product in the Trucking Industry • 5+ Years Experience in the Trucking Industry • Familiarity or working knowledge of other TMS systems such as McLeod, Trimble, RoseRocket, etc., and ELD vendors such as PeopleNet, Omnitracs, Samsara, or KeepTruckin • Initiative, management ability, strategic thinking, financial aptitude and team building skills This position is ideal for a first-time CEO with the entrepreneurial spirit to lead product development, finance, customer success, sales and management of the business. The ideal CEO will have the proven ability to effectively build relationships with employees and customers from executive to front-line level. This is an opportunity for a doer and manager who is ready for the challenge to take the next step in their executive journey. Candidates should be in Nashville, TN or willing to relocate. Might consider a remote candidate who is willing to travel to Nashville on a regular basis.
