Overview

Required Skills and Experience: 1. Bachelors degree in Business, Health Information, Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent experience required; 2. 7+ years of business analysis with an emphasis on data-related responsibilities including: business requirements / user stories pertaining to the management of information; data quality assessments and improvement initiatives; experience working with technical teams in the development of data management processes (ETL or API requirements and testing) 3. Experience in the use of health care payor and/or electronic medical record information, be it in industry standard formats (e.g. 837, HL7/FHIR) and/or custom representations of health information; relatedly, understands the importance of handling data in a HIPAA compliant manner 4. Experience in the use of Agile delivery methodology 5. Proficiency in the use of SQL or related tools for analysis of data 6. Proficiency in business software applications that include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint 7. Problem solving skills; the ability to systematically analyze data, identify problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate courses of action 8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand in relevant business terminology and context. 9. Familiarity with Azure cloud platform What You Need to Know: 1. This is a full-time position with your standard Monday - Friday 8a-5p work schedule. 2. This position is offered as remote. This can be a hybrid position if you're located in and around the Memphis, TN area. Brand new office space for when you want it. Additional Job Details: 1. Define standards / expectations of data relative to its intended business use and purpose 2. Measure the existing state of the data in context of its ``fit for use'', relative to standards 3. Drive data improvement and remediation efforts, as prioritized in coordination with data source(s) and data content users 4. Ensure data measurement standards and measures are repeatable and operationalized, with appropriate gauges and alerts in the operational process 5. Responsible to define and assure data is `fit for use' within the Complete/Accurate/Timely paradigm, and to formally document and communicate the degree of fit while driving the remediation/improvement activities as warranted.

Required
