Additional Job Details: • Promote a safe workplace without risk to health • Ensure the workplace satisfies health and safety requirements • Proactive prevention and precautions against, or adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise, radiation and manual handling risks • Investigate accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventable measures • Report or review findings from accident investigations and facilities inspections • Provide weekly reports on activities and observations • Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance • Work with the Safety Manager to conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment • Interview employers and employees to obtain information about work environments and workplace incidents • Communicates safety policies with customers • Act as safety resource contact for site managers on multiple projects / jobs • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required
  • High School/GED
  • Valid Driver's
  • Valid OSHA 30
  • working a in Safety and/or Compliance functions (5+ years)
