Overview

Required Skills and Experience: 1. Excellent verbal and written communication 2. 4-year college degree, preferably, in Computer Science/Management Information Systems. 3. Must have 4 plus years of experience in software development in Java. 4. Must have 2 plus years of experience in web development technologies, such as React, Sencha, ExtJS, and Angular. 5. Must have 3 plus years of experience in utilizing relational databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres. 6. Experience working within a CICD stack, such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Maven. 7. Preference working with Python in a professional environment. 8. Preference integrating with identity management suites, such as Keycloak, Okta, or Auth0. 9. Preference building and deploying application to Kubernetes. 10. Embraces Diverse people, thinking and styles 11. Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and evolving technologies. Deliver new features and defect fixes for Java-based web applications utilizing industry best practices interacting with relational databases within Agile Scrum team. 2. Participate in team discussions on improvements to SDLC and platform. 3. Participate in code reviews on all applications. 4. Provide information to customer groups within the organization on the applications and document when necessary. 5. The Product Development team is responsible for both maintaining and delivering new features against the product roadmap for delivery to internal and external customers. 6. The Senior Software Engineer role is expected to be self-driven and providing feedback for Product Development team improvement. 7. This role will require close interaction with Product Management, Software QA, and DevOps to provide the highest level of quality in an automated fashion delivering the biggest impact for customers.

Qualifications

Required
  • Software Development in Java (4+ years)
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • React
    • Sencha
    • ExtJS
    • Angular
  • 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • SQL Server
    • Oracle
    • Postgres
