Senior Internal Auditor

Overview

As a key member of the Finance & Accounting team, you'll be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and planning of the Company's internal audit programs, including the implementation of the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) program. The ideal candidate can operate as a high-level individual contributor and critical thinker who works collaboratively with a team of accounting and finance professionals. Top 3 Skills Needed: 1. 4+ years of financial auditing and / or public accounting at the senior auditor level; Big 4 experience preferred 2. CPA and/or CIA certification (required) 3. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required) Day to Day Prepare audit documentation, including control matrices, flowcharts, narratives, testing documentation, findings and recommendations. Assist with the development of project scope for the internal audit assignments, including the Company’s SOX implementation. Support external audit procedures over testing of the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with SOX. Identify issues, recommend areas for improvement, and help develop creative and effective solutions to mitigate risk and successfully remediate potential audit issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Accounting (4+ years)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Kentucky (KY)
  • Valid Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) in Kentucky (KY)
• Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
• Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) (5+ years)
