Overview

We are seeking a fulltime Software Development Manager to join our growing Software Development Team in Fayetteville, AR. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the software development team, implement processes, and strategically plan development capacity. You will contribute to the continuous growth and learning of our software development team as a whole. Job Overview: • Monitor progress throughout the software design and implementation process • Hire and train software developers on the team • Set goals for the software development team • Submit proposals and progress reports to upper management • Lead Agile Kanban ceremonies • Manage and report on lead time, cycle time, workflow efficiency, etc. to ensure visibility and remove workflow bottlenecks • Protect the integrity of our backlog and work in progress • Oversee budget and capacity planning for new projects • Create and document software development processes • Create and maintain a healthy workplace environment • Report on development capacity and efficiency • Ensure the development squad's needs are met in terms of UI, UX, DevOps, and Product support • Help the team remove blockers and align resources to triage problems Selling Points: • Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision) • PTO, Sick Days • Collaborative team environment • Ability to join a high-growth company • And much more! Qualifications

Required
  • leading a Software Development Team (5+ years)
  • 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Working in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment
    • Working in an Agile software environment
    • Jira or Azure DevOps
    • Mentorship and Coaching skills
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Do you have experience working at a startup?
  • Do you have previous experience as a Software Developer?
