Overview

Address: Austin State Hospital 4110 Guadalupe Street Austin, TX. 78751 Shift time: - 3pm - 11pm - Every other weekend - Must be available for 12 consecutive days of training M-F 8a-5p. Required skills and experience: - Must possess valid RN license - Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements - Must submit required drug test (Relode provides) - Must submit required fingerprinting (facility provides) - Must complete facility and HHSC required training (12 days - CANNOT miss) Additional job details: Responsibilities: - Provide care for patients – Manage psychiatric / medical emergency, complete nursing assessment’s for new admissions - Perform computer data entry – Receive full training - Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, ASH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN)
• Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
